Job summary

Ashmore Tavern on the Gold Coast is seeking a passionate Assistant Manager to join our management team. You will report to the Venue Manager and help lead the team culture, customer experience and compliant operation of the hotel.

Required are RSA, RSG, RMLV certificates and an Approved Managers licence, plus at least 12 months in hospitality management. A suburban pub background is advantageous; you should be energetic, community-facing and committed to high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a hospitality management role, with at least 12 months experience.
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV Certificates and Approved Managers licence.
• Previous experience in a suburban pub advantageous.
• Ability to engage with the community and drive exceptional customer experiences.

The Fortitudo Group has a portfolio of seven hotels, along with four attached drive-thru bottle shops and a network of detached bottle shops. About the role

This is a permanent full-time role that reports directly to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the team culture, customer experience and the compliant operation of the hotel.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate and deliver:

Proven success in a hospitality management role, with at least 12 months experience

Current RSA, RSG, RMLV Certificates and Approved Managers licence

Previous experience in a suburban pub advantageous

Ability to engage with the community and drive exceptional customer experiences

Outgoing energetic personality that thrives on customer interaction

The ability to implement and adhere to policies and procedures

Reliable and excellent personal presentation

Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for the industry, its patrons and the people that work within it
