Job summary

The Ashmore Tavern is seeking an experienced Bottle Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cellarbrations store in Ashmore on the Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Group Retail Manager, you will lead a small team, drive sales, maintain stock, schedule rosters, and ensure RSA compliance while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store presentation to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of sales performance in the liquor industry with strong product knowledge.
• RSA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day store operations to the highest of standards.
• Development and mentoring of employees, along with promoting a positive and professional team culture.
• Monitoring staff presentation and grooming standards.
• Supervising and training retail attendants of a lower grade.
• Monitoring and driving sales performance working towards store KPIs.
• Maintaining stock control and stock ordering.
• Preparing displays and presenting stock.
• Maintaining the store with a high standard of cleanliness.
• Rostering and wage cost management.
• Proven working experience in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of sales performance in the liquor industry with strong product knowledge.
• Ability to drive the team to success with a hands-on approach.
• Attention to detail and time management.

About the role

This is a full-time permanent role that reports directly to the Group Retail Manager, the successful applicant will possess strong management skills with previous experience in managing a retail store. A commitment to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences is essential.
