Assistant Manager – National Tiles

Join National Tiles as an Assistant Manager based at our Port Melbourne store, where you will play a key leadership role in driving sales, coaching the team and maintaining high operational standards.

This is a full‑time position offering 40 hours per week on a Tue‑Sat roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth store performance
• Lead by example to foster a customer‑obsessed culture and deliver meaningful store experiences reflecting the highest industry standards
• Coach and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales targets, budgets and operational KPIs across the full product range
• Foster a collaborative, positive culture that empowers every team member to succeed through ongoing coaching, mentoring and support
• Manage the end‑to‑end process from store presentation and stock management to compliance with care and accuracy
• Champion a safe workplace by following our health and safety practices

About You

• Proven leadership experience with a customer‑first mindset and experience meeting targets and KPIs
• Results‑driven, commercially astute and motivated about achieving business goals
• Skilled at coaching teams, managing priorities and supporting others to reach their potential
• Strong communicator who leads by example and builds high‑performance cultures
