Job summary

Queensland Childcare Services in Ashgrove is seeking an Assistant Director/Educational Leader to drive high-quality early childhood education. You will mentor educators, model reflective practices, and ensure EYLF and NQS compliance across our centres.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedules, up to 38 hours per week, with flexibility. Compensation up to $43 per hour plus super, with extensive professional development and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education is required.
• Experience as a room leader or Assistant Director.
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
• Ability to coach and support educators in reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational programs across centres and mentor staff.
• Support educators in planning and reflective practice.
• Ensure compliance with EYLF and NQS.
• Collaborate with management to drive quality improvement.

We would love you to have:

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education
• Previous experience as a room leader/ Assistant Director
• Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
• Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
• Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
• Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• A current Qld Blue Card
