Job summary

ACT Government's Environment, Heritage and Parks Division seeks an Assistant Director of Business Management to drive high-quality business support services and continuous improvement across EHP. You will work with the Executive Group Manager and senior leaders to implement robust planning, reporting, and governance across the division.

The role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate complex priorities with Finance, HR, ICT, and Governance teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in coordinating and delivering business management functions.
• Experience analysing information and data to support decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of business planning processes, reporting, and tools for EHP operations.
• Analyse data and reporting trends to identify opportunities for improvement and informed decisions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships and coordinate priorities across EHP and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and provide practical advice and solutions to stakeholders.
• Support change initiatives while ensuring compliant record-keeping.
