Job summary

Edge Early Learning in South Australia seeks an experienced Assistant Director or Educational Leader to partner with the Centre Director, guiding a high-performing team and driving quality practice in a Long Day Care setting.

You will mentor educators, build strong relationships with families and the community, and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework while delivering exceptional outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Must have Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Graduate Diploma/Masters of Teaching with minimum 2–3 years’ Educator experience in a long day care setting within Australia
• Leadership experience in Long Day Care is essential
• Australian working rights are required

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you an experienced Assistant Director or Educational Leader ready to take the next step in your career? At Edge Early Learning, you'll partner with your Centre Director to lead a high-performing team, inspire quality practice and create exceptional outcomes for children, families and educators.

2. On this occasion, we are unable to accept applicants working towards their Certificate III or Diploma qualification, or applicants whose only qualification is a Graduate Diploma or Masters of Teaching without the required experience (see below).

4. Previous leadership experience in a Long Day Care setting is essential.


5. You must be available to work opening and/or closing shifts as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with a minimum 2–3 years’ Educator experience in a long day care setting within Australia


• Leadership experience in Long Day Care.
