Job summary

Edge Early Learning in Australia seeks a passionate Casual Educator to join a busy centre at Seacombe Heights, SA. You will plan and deliver engaging early learning programs, focusing on each child’s development.

We welcome Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Graduate Diploma/Masters of Teaching with relevant experience, and a current Working with Children Check. Extended hours and rostered shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified educator with recognised early childhood credentials.
• Eligibility to work in Australia with relevant checks.
• Experience in long day care or similar settings preferred.

The Opportunity

Are you a qualified Early Years Educator ready to bring energy, creativity and genuine care to a purpose-built centre? We're looking for Certificate III and Diploma-qualified educators to join our centre - people who love what they do and want to grow with a forward-thinking organisation.

Your hourly rate will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience, plus access to our Worker Retention Payment.

1. This role is NOT eligible for employer-sponsored visas (visa sponsorship). You must already hold the right to work in Australia. 2. On this occasion, we are unable to accept applicants working towards their Certificate III qualification, or applicants whose only qualification is a Graduate Diploma or Masters of Teaching without the required experience (see below). 3. Our centres operate extended hours. Whilst we do our best to be flexible, candidates must be available to work opening shifts, closing shifts, or both. We are unable to accommodate school-hours-only availability.

Qualifications

• Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  OR Graduate Diploma / Masters of Teaching with a minimum 2-3 years' Educator experience in a long day care setting within Australia

Certificates & Checks

• Working with Children Check, mandatory
• National Child Safety Training (GECCKO), mandatory
• RRHAN Fundamentals & Masterclass (SA), mandatory
• Training to respond to child abuse and neglect (ACT)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate/s
• Asthma Management Certificate
• Anaphylaxis Certificate
