Goodstart Early Learning Nelson Bay is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead the centre in the Centre Director's absence, mentor staff, and drive continual improvement in operations and care. You will collaborate with the leadership team, engage families, and uphold the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver quality outcomes.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approval, NSW WWCC, and experience in leadership within education or community services.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved qualification.
• NSW Working with Children Check required or willing to obtain one.
• Experience leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial and operational performance management.

Pay: $46.76 to $ 48.39 per hour plus Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Nelson Bay, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation.You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre's local community.

In this role, you will:

You'll need:

• Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Hold a current NSW Working with Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services

• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
