Goodstart Griffith – Sanders St is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director, lead the team, and drive ongoing improvement in every area of centre operations. This role offers a stable, full-time opportunity within Australia’s largest early learning not-for-profit, with a focus on leadership and community engagement.

You will collaborate with a dedicated leadership team, mentor staff, and uphold our commitment to inclusive, high-quality care for children.

Role: Assistant Director

Centre: Goodstart Griffith – Sanders St, NSW

Employment Type: Fixed-Term (12 months) Full-Time - 38 hours per week

Pay: $46.76 - $48.39 per hour + Super

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Estella, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

• Our welcoming centre caters for up to 52 children across our Nursery, Toddler and Preschool rooms
• Open 7:45 am to 5:45 pm
