Job summary

The YMCA Queensland is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for YMCA Yandina Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part-time basis. You will support daily operations, lead programming and guide a dedicated team to deliver safe, enriching care for children.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification.
• Experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

About The Role

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Yandina Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

What You’ll Do
