Job summary

Assistant Centre Manager

We’re looking for a warm, confident, and inspiring Assistant Centre Manager to partner with our Centre Manager and help lead our thriving centre with care, energy, and purpose.

About You

• Lead with passion to deliver high‑quality care through strong leadership and teamwork on a day‑to‑day basis
• Foster a nurturing environment that promotes children’s independence and growth

• Inspire and mentor your team to cultivate excellence in early education
• Maintain high standards across compliance, quality, and care
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families and the local community

What You’ll Bring

• A Diploma or ECT qualification (or strong experience with leadership aspirations), or an ACECQA‑approved equivalent
• Previous experience in early childhood education, as a 2IC or leadership exposure
• Maintain a current Working with Children Check
• Possess Australian Working Right
• Present yourself in a warm, confident and professional manner
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills
• A calm, positive, and solutions‑focused approach
• A genuine passion for children, teams, and creating a beautiful centre culture
• Contribute to a team‑first attitude and a positive environment
• Full availability to work Monday to Friday, 5 days a week
• Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
