Job summary

Volvo Cars Lindfield is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive Accountant to join our finance team in Sydney. This permanent full-time role reports to the Financial Controller and involves a broad Assistant Accountant position with tasks including day-to-day accounts duties and month-end close.

You will develop in a supportive team, with training and opportunities to progress within an accounts environment, and you will be based near public transport in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Accounting.
• Fluent English written & verbal skills.
• Exceptional time management and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with managers and staff at all levels.
• High level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Controller with day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department.
• Reconcile various accounts as determined by the Financial Controller.
• Month end close-off and prepare financial accounts.
• General Ledger reconciliations; provide reports and analysis of business units.
