Job summary

Ultimate Security Australia is seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis in Sydney. This role supports day-to-day financial operations, ensures accuracy of records, and assists with reporting and compliance in a growing organisation.

Working with experienced finance professionals, you will gain exposure to AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, payroll processing and month-end activities while developing skills in MYOB and Excel within a

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with MYOB or similar systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Record journal entries and post transactions to accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and compliance matters.
• Maintain organised financial documentation and filing systems.
• liaise with internal departments and external vendors on accounting matters
