Job summary

TwoScots Recruitment partners with an established business in Epping to hire an Assistant Accountant with around 2 years' experience. The role is five days in the office, offering a salary of $70,000-$75,000 plus super and free onsite parking.

You will support day-to-day accounting tasks, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end processes while gaining exposure to AP, AR, and financial reporting in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic bookkeeping or exposure to financial processes.
• Good Excel skills and confidence with numbers.
• Experience with Xero is highly regarded.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and basic bookkeeping.
• Processing invoices, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting the finance team with month-end tasks and general reporting.
• Updating and maintaining financial data with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and supporting ad-hoc finance duties as required.

Are you an Assistant Accountant with around 2 years' experience looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and collaborative environment? We're partnering with a well-established business in Epping that is seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who is looking to further develop their skills. You'll bring strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in finance. Working closely with a friendly and experienced team, you'll gain hands‑on exposure across accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, month‑end support, and broader financial reporting.

Please note this role is 5 days in the office.

What you’ll be doing:
