Job summary

The Hassett Group is seeking an experienced Head of Assets & Operations in Victoria to join the senior leadership team. You will drive asset portfolio performance, lead multiple functional teams and oversee technology-enabled transformation across capital projects and operations.

You will lead complex systems and change management initiatives, ensuring investments deliver measurable operational and commercial benefits. This is a senior executive role reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience across operations, asset management or infrastructure.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and improving business performance.
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost management and strategic planning.
• Experience overseeing capital projects, asset lifecycle management and operational risk.
• Demonstrated capability delivering systems improvements, process optimisation and organisational change.
• Sound knowledge of WHSEQ requirements, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across asset management, operations and design.
• Drive complex technology projects, systems implementation and business transformation.
• Oversee systems architecture, integrations, data flows and technology improvements.
• Manage asset lifecycles, infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and capital works.
• Improve operational performance, service delivery, efficiency and cost control.
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategy, commercial decisions and growth.
• Oversee budgets, supplier relationships, contracts and commercial performance.
• Strengthen governance, WHSEQ compliance, risk management and operational accountability.
