Job summary

The GPT Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for the Office Asset Team in Sydney. You will own day-to-day operations of assets, coordinating trades, contractors and essential services to ensure safe, efficient operations and a seamless tenant experience.

You will oversee maintenance requests, conduct inspections, manage budgets and PPMS data, and implement energy, water and waste reduction initiatives while upholding safety and compliance across properties.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in operational asset management.
• Trade or engineering qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Knowledge of Building Codes, Australian Standards, WHS standards.
• Strong project and contractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise contractors to meet tenant expectations.
• Inspect properties for maintenance, safety and quality standards.
• Manage maintenance requests with timely action and clear communication.
• Maintain PPMS data, scheduling and reporting.
• Lead energy, water and waste reduction initiatives.
• Support annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Process purchase orders, invoices and reports.
