Job summary

Council in NSW is seeking an experienced Coordinator Asset Management to lead the strategic planning and lifecycle management of infrastructure assets, including transport, parks and open spaces, buildings, foreshore assets and public lighting.

You will report to the Strategic Asset Manager and head a specialist team responsible for shaping long-term asset strategies, developing investment plans and ensuring our infrastructure meets the needs of a growing community.

Qualifications

• This role requires strategic leadership and ability to translate technical information into practical outcomes.
• Experience in asset management, infrastructure planning or project delivery is essential.
• Proven ability to develop strategies, business cases and long-term plans.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and positive community outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Asset Management team.
• Drive asset management planning, policies and strategies.
• Prepare business cases, funding submissions and investment proposals.
• Oversee service level reviews and long-term asset planning.
• Inform capital works priorities through data-driven decision making.
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders across Council.
• Build strong relationships with community, government and industry partners.
