Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking an Asset Strategy Planner to support the Strategic Asset Management function. You'll help develop Asset Management Plans, lifecycle investment strategies, renewal forecasts and long-term works programs across the Council’s asset portfolio.

You will analyse asset condition, performance, risk, demand and lifecycle costs to recommend practical planning options and funding decisions, working with stakeholders to deliver affordable, sustainable community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Asset Management Plans, lifecycle plans, works programs or long-term asset planning strategies
• Strong understanding of strategic asset management principles: lifecycle planning, risk, levels of service, demand and long-term investment planning
• Ability to analyse asset condition, performance, risk, criticality and lifecycle costs for planning recommendations and funding
• Experience using asset information, financial information and business data for evidence-based decisions
• Ability to apply lifecycle forecasting, scenario analysis, predictive modelling or risk-based planning techniques

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve Asset Management Plans and long-term investment strategies across the asset portfolio
• Analyse asset condition, performance, risk and lifecycle costs to inform investment priorities
• Collaborate with custodians, finance and project teams to translate data into clear investment decisions
