Clarence Valley Council in Grafton, NSW, is seeking a Coordinator Asset Management to lead a small, capable team and drive data‑driven infrastructure decisions.

You will implement the Asset Management Improvement Plan, improve asset information, and foster consistent practices across Transport, Water & Sewer, Open Spaces and Facilities.

Based in South Grafton, the role shapes long‑term planning, renewal programs and capital investment decisions with a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure asset management, asset planning or strategic asset management.
• Experience developing or improving Asset Management Plans and asset management frameworks.
• Strong analytical capability with large datasets and asset information.
• Experience using asset management systems such as TechOne or similar platforms, with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to lead and develop technical teams while influencing stakeholders across an organisation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead Council's Asset Management team and work with operational managers to strengthen strategic asset management.
• Continue implementing the Asset Management Improvement Plan and build consistent asset planning approaches.
• Ensure asset information supports long‑term planning, renewal programs and capital investments.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and direction to the Asset Management team.
