Job summary

Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking an Assets Inspector for Parks and Buildings in a permanent full-time role. The position involves proactive and reactive inspections, asset data management, and contributing to renewal projects.

You’ll split time between fieldwork and reporting, with access to the vehicle pool, and occasional use of your own vehicle. NSW regional opportunities and flexible arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Building/asset management qualification or substantial relevant experience.
• Experience in construction and/or maintenance of Buildings and/or Parks assets.
• Experience in condition assessments, field inspections, and managing databases.
• Experience in capital project scoping, cost estimating and risk assessments.
• Ability to develop future works programs.
• Experience working under safe work methods systems.
• Hold current C Class driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assets to ensure safety and compliance across parks and buildings.
• Collect and maintain asset data; update inspection and asbestos records.
• Develop scopes and cost estimates for renewals and upgrades; contribute to capital works program.
• Work across field, reporting, and data recording; travel for inspections as required.
