Job summary

SB Recruitment is seeking an Account Manager for a temporary assignment in Sydney CBD within a Commercial Asset Finance context. You will manage a portfolio of consumer mortgage accounts up to 80 days in arrears, engaging customers to recover arrears with empathy and professionalism.

You will negotiate tailored repayment arrangements, monitor plans, and coordinate with Customer Service, Credit, and Legal to reach timely resolutions while hitting KPIs in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• 12 months’ experience in collections within financial services, or strong customer service experience in a financial services environment.
• Ability to manage sensitive conversations regarding overdue accounts.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to recover outstanding arrears in a professional and empathetic manner
• Negotiate and implement tailored repayment arrangements
• Monitor repayment plans and proactively follow up on commitments
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Credit, Legal) to achieve timely resolutions
• Achieve individual KPIs while contributing to a high-performing, team-focused environment
