Job summary

SB Recruitment is assisting a client in Sydney CBD with an immediate temporary assignment in collections. You will manage a portfolio of consumer mortgage accounts up to 80 days in arrears, engaging customers to recover arrears and negotiating tailored repayment plans.

The role requires at least 12 months in collections within financial services or strong customer service experience in a financial services environment, with strong negotiation and attention to detail.

• Ability to negotiate repayment arrangements and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to recover arrears in a professional manner.
• Negotiate and implement tailored repayment arrangements.
• Monitor repayment plans and follow up on commitments.
• Liaise with internal teams (Customer Service, Credit, Legal) to resolve cases.
• Aim to achieve individual KPIs within a high-performing team.
