Scape Australia is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for a 12-month fixed term, on-site role in Sydney CBD. You will help keep rent flowing smoothly for residents, processing rent and bonds while supporting reporting and controls with on-site teams.

Day-to-day work includes billing, reconciliations, AR ageing, and contributing to improvements. Proficiency in NetSuite, StarRez or PEX is highly regarded, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years finance experience in hotel, hospitality or student accommodation
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or related discipline
• Proficiency in MS Excel is essential
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience with NetSuite, StarRez or PEX is advantageous

Responsabilités

• Manage resident billing, bond payments, refunds and other payments, including fortnightly direct debit runs
• Maintain AR sub-ledger across properties and ensure revenue recognition in NetSuite
• Work with on-site and leasing teams to collect outstanding rent promptly
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor chargebacks and suspicious refunds
• Prepare AR ageing, revenue and variance reporting and support continuous improvement projects
