Job summary

Naeco is a high‑tech, ISO‑certified manufacturer in Capalaba (Brisbane’s Bayside) seeking a full-time Assembly Technician to join a collaborative team. The role focuses on precision assembly of components, soldering, wiring harness work, and adherence to quality procedures within a modern production environment.

Ideal candidates will read detailed drawings, perform soldering (including surface mount), and use a microscope for fine work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow detailed drawings.
• Experience with soldering and crimping, including microscope work.
• Basic mechanical fitting skills.
• Strong time management and teamwork.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components with attention to detail and follow quality processes.
• Solder electronic components, including surface mount.
• Perform fine soldering with magnification as needed.
• Assemble wiring harnesses and crimp Mil-Spec connectors.
• Maintain high quality and precision in all builds.
• Report issues clearly, verbally and electronically.
• Keep production area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow ISO and internal quality procedures.

Our modern machine shop in Capalaba (Brisbane’s Bayside) produces high‑precision, tight‑tolerance components that power world‑class thermal‑management solutions.

Due to further company growth, we are seeking a full-time Assembly Technician

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-orientedAssembly Technicianto join our collaborative and innovative team. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision components and thrives in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly skills (attention to detail, read engineering drawings, follow quality processes etc), with electrical bend.

Electronic component soldering experience, preferably including surface mount.

Fine soldering, using magnifying lens or microscope where needed.

Wiring harness assembly including crimping of Mil Spec connectors.

Maintain high standards of quality and precision in all builds.

Report issues and updates clearly—both verbally and electronically.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

Follow ISO and internal quality procedures diligently.
