Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is assisting a Brisbane manufacturing client to recruit a hands-on Production Assembler. This role focuses on assembling, testing and supporting the production of electronic and mechanical products, following technical drawings and work instructions.

You will join a skilled team in a quality-focused environment, perform precise soldering and wiring, and contribute to continuous improvement. Immediate start with potential for ongoing employment after the initial contract period.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, production or assembly.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
  • Soldering and wiring experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components using drawings and instructions.
  • Perform soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly.
  • Conduct product testing, inspections and quality checks.
  • Identify and report faults and production issues.
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Assist with inventory, kitting, packing and dispatch.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across production processes.

Production Assembler | Brisbane

Our client is seeking a hands-on Production Assembler to join their Brisbane manufacturing team. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated electronic and mechanical products used across a range of industrial applications. You’ll be responsible for assembling, testing and supporting the production of technical equipment, working closely with a skilled team in a quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components using technical drawings and work instructions
  • Perform soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly
  • Conduct product testing, inspections and quality checks
  • Identify and report faults, defects and production issues
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately
  • Assist with inventory, component kitting, packing and dispatch
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across production processes
About You
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production or assembly
  • Hands-on experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics and work instructions
  • Soldering and wiring experience highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience with electronics testing or ERP systems highly regarded
