Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a hands‑on Electronic Assembler for a Brisbane manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, testing and supporting the production of electronic and mechanical products in a quality‑driven environment.

You will read technical drawings, perform soldering and wiring, conduct tests and inspections, document outcomes, and assist with inventory and dispatch while maintaining a safe, tidy workspace. This is a 6‑month contract with view to permanency, hours 7:30am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Soldering and wiring experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components using drawings and instructions.
• Perform soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly.
• Test products, conduct inspections and quality checks.
• Identify faults and production issues and report them.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Assist with inventory, packing and dispatch.

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Production Assembler to join their Brisbane manufacturing team. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated electronic and mechanical products used across a range of industrial applications.

You’ll be responsible for assembling, testing and supporting the production of technical equipment, working closely with a skilled team in a quality‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components using technical drawings and work instructions
• Perform soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly
• Conduct product testing, inspections and quality checks
• Identify and report faults, defects and production issues
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Assist with inventory, component kitting, packing and dispatch
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area
• Contribute to continuous improvement across production processes
• 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday
• $33.85-$36.85
• 6 month contract with genuine view to permanency

About You

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production or assembly
• Hands-on experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics and work instructions
• Soldering and wiring experience highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Practical problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Experience with electronics testing or ERP systems highly regarded
