Job summary

IntelliDesign is seeking a Senior Assembly & Test Technician to join our Brisbane Production team and help manufacture high-quality electronic products. You will assemble, test, and document production work, ensuring safety, quality and traceability across the build process.

You will apply hands-on skills, read drawings and instructions, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and adherence to our Innovation, Quality and Together values.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly or production environment.
• Experience assembling and testing electronic products is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic fault-finding and troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings and documentation.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
• A practical, hands-on mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products in accordance with work instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Perform testing and basic fault-finding activities.
• Complete production tasks safely, efficiently and to quality requirements.
• Identify and report production issues and defects.
• Support investigation and resolution of product and process issues.
• Assist with the introduction of new products into production.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members as required.
• Participate in 6S and continuous improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and company requirements.

The Opportunity
