Sydney's Finest Meats is seeking an Apprentice Butcher to join our busy Sydney shop. The role includes training in meat preparation, knife skills, food safety and customer service, with weekend shifts required.

You'll assist qualified butchers, learn meat cutting, trimming, packaging and operate slicers, mincers, saws and vacuum packers while maintaining cleanliness and stocking responsibilities. A hands-on team environment and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified butchers in the preparation and presentation of meat products.
• Training to learn procedures and duties in meat cutting, trimming and packaging.
• Working under the supervision of experienced butchers.
• Operating commercial equipment such as slicers, mincers, saws and vacuum packing machines.
• Serving customers and assisting with sales when required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment and displays.
• Assisting in stock control, storage and rotation of products.
