Harris Farm Markets, a family-owned Australian business, is offering an on-the-job training path to become a qualified butcher. No experience needed as you’ll be taught from the ground up, gaining hands-on skills in meat preparation, customer service, and fresh-food standards.

You’ll work with our team to learn to cut, bone, trim, and present meat, while building real industry credentials and a lasting skillset to carry forward in your career.

If you're finishing school, between things, or just looking for work that actually goes somewhere, we'd like to invest in you. No experience needed. No pressure to have it all figured out. Just bring the willingness to learn, and our butchers will take it from there.

What we'll teach you

• How to cut, bone, trim and prepare meat properly - hands-on, step by step, at your own pace
• Everything from everyday cuts to specialty product, so you build real, well-rounded skill
• How to talk to customers with confidence, and share what you know
• The everyday standards of working in fresh food - hygiene, food safety, and taking pride in a well-run counter

You won't be thrown in the deep end. You'll be shown, supported, and given the time to actually get good at this.
