Job summary

Wilson Security is seeking casual security officers for VIC locations, including Glen Waverly. Roles involve 12-hour rotating shifts and 24/7 availability with an Armed Guard endorsement on the security license and a current handgun license. Experience is not required, and training is provided.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident reporting, and coordination with emergency services, with a focus on customer service and safety across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Security Patrols – Foot and Vehicle.

• Maintain security and visitor logs, weapons register and Lost/Found logbook.
• Write daily activity reports in the reporting system.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Experience with Gallagher, Genetec and Tecom security systems is valued.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region.

This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients.

These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Security Patrols - Foot and Vehicle
• Access control management and Alarm/fire monitoring - ensuring site compliance is always adhered to
• Communications with Emergency services and Police - when required
• Maintaining Security & Visitor logbooks, Weapons register and Lost/Found register
• Writing daily activity reports into the reporting system.
• Competent in use of MS computer systems
• Competent use of security software such as Gallagher, Genetec and Tecom electronic security systems will be highly regarded
• Provide excellent customer service

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Australian Citizen or Full working rights
• Armed Guard endorsement on security license
• Current valid Driver's license (Have your own transport)
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must have 24/7 flexibility to work a rotating roster - 12 hr shifts
• Excellent communication skills and Customer service experience
• Police checks and other background checks are also required
