Job summary

Downer Australia is seeking a Project Manager to lead designated projects from inception through delivery, handover and close out within the Government and Integrated Facilities Management team. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will help deliver high-quality outcomes that support essential services.

You will build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants, drive governance, safety systems and effective controls, and ensure performance across scope, schedule

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in building, engineering or project management, or a relevant trades background.
  • Extensive experience in construction roles covering all aspects of project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of project governance principles, methodologies, controls and reporting.
  • Experience managing contractor performance, procurement processes, contract compliance and contractual risk.
  • Advanced stakeholder and client relationship management, supported by people management capability.

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager. Join ourGovernment and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in leading designated projects from conversion and construction through to handover, finalisation and close out. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Lead and manage designated projects from initiation through delivery, handover and close out.

What You’ll Bring
