REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd in Tomago, NSW is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow our defined territory by linking customers with smart, sustainable waste management solutions. You will report to the Field Sales Manager and lead efforts to win new business and retain existing accounts.

The role requires strong relationship-building, consultative communication, and proficiency with CRM tools, PowerPoint, Word and Excel to present proposals and manage opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in winning new business and retaining accounts.

• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.

• Ability to present to customers using PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Develop profitable new business opportunities to achieve budget and business plan objectives.

• Drive service renewals through effective account management.
• Identify opportunities to expand REMONDIS services within existing accounts.
• Provide professional customer service and manage administrative duties on schedule.
• Develop systems to respond to sales leads and opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records for accounts and opportunities.
• Offer commercial and industrial waste removal and management solutions.
• Coordinate with Operations to meet service deadlines.

REMONDIS Australia has an exciting opportunity for a driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Tomago, NSW. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you'll take the lead in growing our presence across a defined sales territory, connecting customers with smart, sustainable waste management solutions that make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

• Develop profitable new business opportunities to achieve budgetary and business plan objectives
• Maintain existing client base through direct contact with client representatives
• Maintain customer loyalty through sales call planning to enable service agreement renewals
• Seek and investigate opportunities to extend and expand REMONDIS services through existing client base
• Provide professional customer service and ensure all administrative duties are conducted effectively, efficiently and by due date
• Develop and implement systems and procedures to respond to sales leads and opportunities supplied by the business
• Maintain customer relationship management records as required
• Provide commercial and industrial waste removal and management solutions to best meet customer needs
• Regularly liaise and work with Operations on customer service issues and service requirement deadlines

Who you are

• You'll bring experience of business to business sales and will be able to share your track record of results in winning new business and/or retaining existing accounts
• To deeply understand how to best help our customers, you listen more than you speak
• You communicate well, and your written and verbal style when interacting with customers is as friendly as it is consultative
• You're able to maintain prospect and lead information in our CRM system, ensuring you use our systems and resources to support your success
• You'll be a skilled presenter, able to engage customers with the necessary skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
