Job summary

REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager in St Mary's, NSW. You will lead the defined territory, drive profitable new business, and maintain existing client relationships to secure service renewals.

Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will use CRM tools, present solutions with PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and collaborate with Operations on service delivery to meet customer needs in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience with a track record of winning new business or retaining accounts.
• Active listening to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication style with customers, friendly and consultative.
• Ability to maintain prospect and lead information in the CRM system with proficiency in our tools.
• Skilled presenter comfortable engaging customers using PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Drive, motivation and resilience to succeed in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop profitable new business opportunities to achieve budgetary and business plan objectives.
• Maintain existing client base through direct contact with client representatives.
• Maintain customer loyalty through sales call planning to enable service agreement renewals.
• Seek and investigate opportunities to extend and expand REMONDIS services through existing client base.
• Provide professional customer service and ensure all administrative duties are conducted effectively, efficiently and by due date.
• Develop and implement systems and procedures to respond to sales leads and opportunities supplied by the business.
• Maintain customer relationship management records as required.
• Provide commercial and industrial waste removal and management solutions to best meet customer needs.
• Regularly liaise and work with Operations on customer service issues and service requirement deadlines.

Who you are

• You'll bring experience of business to business sales and will be able to share your track record of results in winning new business and/or retaining existing accounts
• To deeply understand how to best help our customers, you listen more than you speak
• You communicate well, and your written and verbal style when interacting with customers is as friendly as it is consultative
• You're able to maintain prospect and lead information in our CRM system, ensuring you use our systems and resources to support your success
• You'll be a skilled presenter, able to engage customers with the necessary skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Whilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environment
