Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Sales Representative for the NSW Riverina region to cover livestock producers, vet clinics and resellers. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and become the go-to person for technical product information and education, supported by a strong R&D pipeline.

Expect to travel within regional NSW, build relationships, deliver product training, and drive sales growth with a proactive, customer‑centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Extensive animal health/veterinary sales experience preferred.
• Terrestrial experience in livestock markets is a plus.
• Tertiary qualifications in rural science, agribusiness or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build sales of key brands in line with the commercial plan.
• Travel around the assigned territory to implement key marketing programs.
• Deliver technical training after completion of training, supported by tech vets.

Sales Representative: Livestock Riverina NSW

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, our interim Sales Rep has a passion for the livestock industry. Maybe you're a producer looking for a change? Or you are an experienced account manager looking to join a robust industry? Does delivering market innovation and working with a sensational R&D product pipeline get you inspired? We need you to be the sort of person who can build lasting relationships with vet clinics, livestock producers & resellers as well as having a personal strength in utilising business insights. We want you to be customer obsessed with a love for the livestock industry.

The territory covers agricultural centres and their surrounds in the NSW Riverina. Major regional centres include Wagga Wagga, Young, West Wyalong, Hay, Griffith, Harden, Holbrook and Cootamundra.

Overview of the Role

• 12-month parental leave cover
• Be a trusted source of information and the vet clinics, livestock producers & resellers "go to person".
• Deliver technical training (after you have been trained) and be supported by our tech vets to sell our unique and market leading, genomic, animal health and veterinary range.
• Build the sales of key brands in line with the commercial plan
• Innovation is encouraged and fostered within Zoetis as is engagement with our producer facing workshops and field days to assist in delivering effective education and information to industry stakeholders regarding animal health and production

• Travel around the assigned territory in person to implement key marketing programs.
• Utilise all tools available to you to build positive relationships and generate sales growth in each account.
• Responsible for developing new business whilst maintaining an existing client base, your task orientation, proactive approach and well‑developed organisational skills will be highly valued.
• A strong emphasis on cultivating and nurturing relationships and delivering value for customers including a positive and professional approach to customer service is an essential requirement.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive animal health / veterinary sales experience and preferably tertiary qualifications in rural science, agribusiness or a related field.
