Job summary

InvoCare in Victoria seeks an Area Manager to oversee compassionate collection of beloved pets for cremation. You will coordinate respectful transport to our facility, providing peace of mind for grieving families.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 25kg. Based in Barnawartha, Albury, or Wondonga, you will work 8:00 AM–4:06 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pet collections from veterinary clinics with dignity and care.
• Collect pets from owners' homes.
• Return pet ashes to clients at home or in clinics.
• Meet system requirements with high attention to detail.
• Keep vehicles and work areas maintained to high standards.
• Plan and navigate daily runs efficiently; be available for overtime or weekends as needed.

Embrace a meaningful role as an Area Manager, responsible for the compassionate collection of beloved pets for cremation. As an Area Manager you will be dedicated to ensuring respectful and compassionate collection and transportation of beloved pets to our facility for cremation services. The role involves compassion, empathy and providing peace of mind to pet owners during a sensitive time. We are looking for individuals who are based in and around Barnawartha or Albury, Wondonga, Wangaratta. The shift time for this role - 8:00 AM to 4:06 PM, Monday to Friday.

Duties of an Area Manager:

• Carrying out pet collections from veterinary clinics, which entails handling deceased animals with respect and dignity (all pets are hygienically bagged and kept chilled)
• Collecting pets from owners' homes
• Returning pet ashes to clients at home and in veterinary clinics
• Thoroughly reviewing and accurately fulfilling system requirements with meticulous attention to detail
• Ensuring that vehicle and work areas are maintained at the highest standards
• Navigating daily runs with efficiency aligned to the run requirements
• Availability Overtime and weekends as and when required

• Required to hold full driver's License with no restrictions
• Open for Medical Assessment and Q-Vax
