Job summary

InvoCare’s Pets in Peace division seeks an Area Manager to coordinate compassionate pet collections for cremation. You will manage home and clinic pickups, ensure dignified handling of remains, and deliver ashes to clients with empathy.

The role requires a full driver’s license, ability to lift up to 25kg, and a commitment to high standards of care. Overtime and weekend work may be required, based on load and demand.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pet collections from veterinary clinics with respect and dignity.

• Navigate daily runs efficiently according to run requirements.

Embrace a meaningful role as an Area Manager, responsible for the compassionate collection of beloved pets for cremation. As an Area Manager you will be dedicated to ensuring respectful and compassionate collection and transportation of beloved pets to our facility for cremation services. The role involves compassion, empathy and providing peace of mind to pet owners during a sensitive time. Duties of an Area Manager:

• Carrying out pet collections from veterinary clinics, which entails handling deceased animals with respect and dignity (all pets are hygienically bagged and kept chilled)
• Collecting pets from owners' homes
• Returning pet ashes to clients at home and in veterinary clinics
• Thoroughly reviewing and accurately fulfilling system requirements with meticulous attention to detail
• Ensuring that vehicle and work areas are maintained at the highest standards
• Navigating daily runs with efficiency aligned to the run requirements
• Availability Overtime and weekends as and when required
