Job summary

Salexo Consulting in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on sales professional to drive specification of premium acoustic products across commercial interiors and design-led projects.

You will engage with architects, interior designers, builders and contractors, building relationships, presenting technical products and ensuring installation through project milestones. Flexible office/home/field arrangements with autonomy over the VIC territory.

• Understanding of A&D market and ability to talk to architects/designers.
• Experience in technical architectural product sales is valued.

Job description

This is a high-end acoustic business supplying premium acoustic solutions into the commercial and architectural market.

The business works closely with architects, interior designers, builders and contractors across commercial interiors and design-led projects.

It's a quality product range, a strong brand and a role where architectural relationships and specification are a big part of the sales process.

The Role:

This is a hands‑on sales role focused on getting out into the market, building relationships and getting products specified across commercial and design‑led projects.

You'll work with architects, interior designers, builders and contractors, helping get products specified and staying involved throughout the project to ensure the specified products are actually installed.

I'm open to candidates from architectural acoustics, but also sales professionals coming from adjacent sectors such as ceilings, wall linings, architectural timber, flooring, partitions, furniture or other specification‑led architectural products, as long as you have the technical expertise.

What I'm Looking For:

Someone who understands the A&D market, is comfortable talking to architects and designers and enjoys the mix of relationship building, specification and new business.

You don't necessarily need an acoustic background — strong technical architectural product sales experience and the right network can be just as valuable.

What's On Offer:

$110K – $140K Base + Super.

Uncapped commission structure.
