Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking an Associate Architect to lead the design and delivery of aged care and seniors living projects in Australia. You will collaborate with senior leadership, clients, consultants and project teams to mentor junior staff and drive successful outcomes across all stages of design and construction.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Architect with hands-on experience in aged care, strong client-facing capabilities, and a proven track record of leading project teams

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with proven experience delivering Aged Care and/or Seniors Living projects.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to develop long-term stakeholder relationships.
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior architects.
• Excellent knowledge of design, documentation, and construction delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of aged care and seniors living projects across all project stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, operators, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to architects and junior staff.
• Manage project programmes, resources, and consultant coordination.
• Oversee design quality, technical delivery, and project outcomes.
• Contribute to business development and help grow the studio's aged care sector.
