The role suits a proactive individual who communicates effectively with clients and internal teams, maintains accurate debtor records and supports month‑end reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable and banking reconciliations.
• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics (advantageous).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator, able to follow up overdue accounts.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Raising and issuing invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Managing collections by following up on outstanding accounts via phone and email.
• Processing daily banking transactions and completing bank reconciliations.
• Allocating receipts and maintaining debtor records.
• Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve account queries and disputes.
• Providing general administrative support to operations and finance teams.
• Data entry and maintenance of freight forwarding software records.
• Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting.
• Coordinating freight shipment documentation.
