Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team in a stable logistics business. CargoWise experience is essential for success in this role.

You will manage broad AP & AR tasks, liaise with customers and suppliers, and contribute to month-end activities. Immediate start available and a supportive team culture are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in AP/AR or Accounts Officer roles.
• CargoWise experience is essential.
• Experience in freight forwarding/logistics/transport desirable.
• Strong reconciliation and invoicing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices for freight, transport and logistics operations.
• Raise and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Match supplier costs against shipments and supporting docs.
• Manage AP functions including payment preparation and processing.
• Manage AR activities including allocations and collections.
• Monitor outstanding debtors and follow up overdue accounts.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Complete customer account reconciliations.
• Process credit notes and invoice adjustments.
• Investigate billing/invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain CargoWise records and processes.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams on account queries.
• Assist with month-end activities and accruals.
