Job summary

The Hills Shire Council is seeking an experienced Aquatic Duty Supervisor for Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre in Baulkham Hills, NSW. This permanent full-time role supports supervision of pools, lifeguarding, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating bookings and events, ensuring water quality and safety compliance with NSW guidelines, and completing records. Required: Pool Lifeguard Award, First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Pool Lifeguard Award and related certifications are required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Knowledge of NSW public swimming pools guidelines is expected.

• Provide and lead lifeguards for active pool supervision.
• Deliver quality customer service and respond to inquiries.

Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, located in The Hills Shire Council area, is looking for an experienced Permanent full-time Aquatic Duty Supervisor to join our team. The complex includes a 10-lane 50m outdoor Olympic-sized pool, additional 25m outdoor pool and two indoor learn to swim and leisure pools, along with a water play area, and a fully equipped fitness centre. What Does This Role Look Like

• Assist with supervision of pool bookings, including school carnivals, swim clubs, internal programs.Assist in set up and delivery of internal programs/venue bookings at the centre.
• Provide and lead lifeguards in providing active pool supervision.
• Provide quality customer service by performing lifeguarding, answering enquiries, directing patrons
• Complete accurate record keeping including - water quality testing, shift reporting,incident/accident reporting

What Are We Seeking

• Pool Lifeguard and Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate
• First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
• Working with children check
• Demonstrated understanding of the compliance with NSW Public Swimming Pools and Spa PoolsGuidelines.
