Bayside Council in Sydney, NSW invites applications for Learn to Swim Instructors – Casual positions at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley) and Botany Aquatic Centre.
Successful candidates will plan and deliver learn-to-swim and water-safety lessons, support the Aquatic Programs team, and maintain high customer service. Flexible hours include early mornings to evenings; safety and compliance are priorities.

Bayside Council currently operates two Aquatic Centres, Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley) and Botany Aquatic Centre (Botany). Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre is a modern facility that includes an indoor and outdoor pool, grandstand, gym and group fitness spaces, kiosk, and aqua play facilities. Botany Aquatic is a seasonal operation (Sept - April) with 50m,22m and toddler outdoor heated pools, picnic, and function facilities. Botany Aquatic will close at the end of April 2024 to undergo a major redevelopment.
The successful candidate will report to the Aquatic Programs Supervisor and contribute to the planning and delivery of swimming and water safety education lessons in line with the council and swim school and water safety teaching guidelines, policies and processes and the delivery of high-quality customer focused services to meet the needs of the community at Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre Bexley and Botany Aquatic Centre. You have the option to work at one or both.

Salary: $34.97 - $39.17 ph + 25% casual loading + 12% Super
