Job summary

The Hills Shire Council is seeking an experienced Aquatic Duty Supervisor for Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre in Baulkham Hills, NSW. This permanent full-time role supports supervision of pools, lifeguarding, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating bookings and events, ensuring water quality and safety compliance with NSW guidelines, and completing records. Required: Pool Lifeguard Award, First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Pool Lifeguard Award and related certifications are required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Knowledge of NSW public swimming pools guidelines is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of pool bookings and centre events.
• Provide and lead lifeguards for active pool supervision.
• Deliver quality customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records including water quality testing, shift reports and incidents.
