Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers to oversee daily operations at the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre. You will ensure safety, deliver high-quality service, and lead a dynamic team in a lively leisure environment.

Experience in aquatic settings is valued. Roles require early starts, evenings and weekend shifts, with essential certifications in First Aid, CPR, lifeguarding and pool operations. Drivers licence and a National Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience and ability to inspire others.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in a public-facing leisure facility.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within a aquatic centre.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR certification.
• National Police Check clearance.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate and Pool Operations Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the facility with safety and high-quality service in mind.
• Lead and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse range of patrons and staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency procedures.
• Be available for shift work and weekends as required.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery. .

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Drivers Licence Mandatory. Aquatic Experience Mandatory. Be available to work shift work and weekends.
