Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards for the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre in NSW. You will be responsible for day-to-day pool operations, safety, and delivering a positive visitor experience. Availability to work weekends and after-school shifts is preferred, and you must be at least 16 years old.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of OHS and public safety applications.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR.
• National Police Check.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (desirable)
• If you do not have these certificates, you must be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pool operations and ensure safety for all patrons.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment around pool areas.
• Demonstrate effective communication with a diverse range of patrons.

The Role

As we get ready to open new pools at the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre we are on the lookout for additional enthusiastic, reliable and friendly individuals to join the lifeguard team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. We are looking for candidates with availability to work weekends and after school shifts. You must be 16 Years of age orabove. You will have a passion for safety, and should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate*
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (desirable)*
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• If you do not have these certificates, you must be willing to obtain.

HAVEN'T GOT THE QUALIFICAITON BUT STILL LIKE TO BECOME A SWIM TEACHER.
