Job summary

The Department of Training and Workforce Development in Western Australia is seeking a Coordinator to support the Apprenticeship Office. You will lead educational, compliance and regulatory activities under the Vocational Education and Training Act, helping stakeholders achieve high-quality training outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment conditions – National Police Clearance
• Visa validity: evidence of right to work in Australia (Citizenship/PR or NZ Citizenship with unrestricted work rights)
• Fixed term appointments require a valid working visa

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to the Associate Director Apprenticeship Office by coordinating educational, compliance and regulatory activities under the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996 and related Regulations.
• Provide effective leadership, direction and support to a team of officers undertaking administrative, educational and regulatory tasks for stakeholders in the apprenticeship system.
• Contribute to strategic directions of the Department and ensure quality training outcomes across WA apprenticeships.
