Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is offering an Apprenticeship in the Earthmoving Division in Sydney. You will learn to service, maintain and support a range of industry-leading earthmoving equipment used across construction infrastructure and civil projects.

Start date is Monday 18 January 2027. Working alongside skilled professionals, you’ll gain real-world experience whilst earning a qualification that can open doors to a long and successful career in a growing industry.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
  • Strong interest in mechanical equipment and developing a long-term trade career.
  • Good literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills required.
  • Able to safely use hand tools and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment.
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical faults.
  • Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices; keep work area clean and organized.
  • Complete apprenticeship training, attend trade school and maintain training records.
  • Work across service areas and participate in on-the-job training.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults while developing strong technical skills.
  • Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
  • Successfully complete your apprenticeship training, attend required trade school and maintain training records.
  • Work across different service areas and participate in on-the-job training to build broad industry experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement in everything you do.
Skills & Experience
