Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd invites applications for an Apprenticeship in the Earthmoving Division in Adelaide. You will learn to service, maintain and support heavy earthmoving equipment on construction and civil projects.

As an apprentice you will work with qualified technicians, undertake hands-on training, attend trade school, and develop practical skills in mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical fault diagnostics while building a long-term career.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completing a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
• Interest in mechanical equipment and heavy machinery.
• Willingness to learn via structured training and trade school.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults while developing strong technical skills.
• Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Successfully complete your apprenticeship training, attend required trade school and maintain training records.
• Work across different service areas and participate in on-the-job training to build broad industry experience.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement in everything you do.

Responsibilities:

• Willingness to learn new technical skills through structured training, on-the-job experience, and trade school attendance.
• Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.
