Qualifications

  • Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology.
  • Genuine interest in mechanical equipment and heavy machinery.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and follow safety procedures.
  • Willingness to learn through structured training and on-the-job experience.
  • Reliable and team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment.
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
  • Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices while maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Complete apprenticeship training and attend trade school.
  • Work across service areas and participate in on-the-job training.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment and machinery.
