Job summary

MEGT is partnering to offer a Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship in Castle Hill, NSW. You will gain hands-on experience with precision mechanical systems and industrial equipment while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

You will learn from experienced tradespeople, receive structured training through TAFE and on‑the‑job mentoring, and develop a long-term career in advanced manufacturing within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop hands-on mechanical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team in a workshop environment.
• Physically capable of working in a hands-on manufacturing setting.
• Basic numeracy and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with installation, assembly, and alignment of mechanical equipment.
• Supporting maintenance on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Learning to diagnose mechanical faults and assist with repairs under supervision.
• Using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment safely.
